Restaurant Assistant for Urban Bistro

ICA Kvantum in Skövde is a family-owned business with about 80 employees. We continuously strive to be Skövde's best grocery store for those who want to live a little better.

We are now looking for two new colleagues for Urban Bistro, located at the store entrance, where we aim to inspire our guests with street food.

Job Responsibilities:

As a restaurant assistant with us, you will assist and contribute to the daily operations of the Bistro regarding operations, service, product development, menu setting, seasoning, quality, and seasonal inspiration, working together with the department manager for the bistro.

This position will take responsibility for the bistro's tasks in the absence of others.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience and knowledge in the restaurant/cooking field
• Has experience in finance, purchasing, budgeting, and leadership
• Wants to help create and develop the future Urban Bistro.
• Has good analytical skills and computer knowledge.
• Has excellent guest service skills
• Is physically fit as heavy lifting occurs daily

The position involves working with food preparation, cash handling, restaurant oversight, production, serving responsibilities, and logistics.

You should be outgoing, enjoy working both in a team and independently, be structured, and have a sense of order. You should like meeting guests, be very service-oriented, engaged, strong-willed, enjoy a fast pace, and be able to lead others.

One position is a permanent employment with an initial probationary period of 6 months, averaging about 18.5 hours per week, approximately 48%.

The other position is a temporary position averaging about 12 hours per week, approximately 30%.

Working hours are scheduled on weekdays, weekends, days, and evenings. The start date for the position is immediate or by agreement.
